drums are cool!
This is my drumset which I don’t have a lot of time to play anymore. Here’s how it lays out (I know the photo is bad; my digital camera doesn’t like the poor fluorescent lighting in my basement):

Cymbals
- 15″, 16″, 17″ Zildjian A Custom series crash cymbals
- 19″ Zildjian A Custom series Projection crash cymbal
- 20″ Zildjian A series Rock Ride cymbal (with somewhat tarnished brilliant finish)
- 20″ Zildjian Z Custom series china cymbal (extremely loud)
- 18″ Zildjian A series China Boy cymbal
- 14″ Zildjian Oriential Trash china cymbal
- 10″ Zildjian A series splash cymbal
- 14″ Zildjian A series Quick Beat hi-hats
- 11″ Istanbul splash cymbal (best I’ve ever heard)
- Paiste cup chimes (3 on a rope)
- 10″ Lp Ice Bell
Drums
- Wine red Pearl Export series 5 piece kit
- 1.5″x13″ Pearl brass shell piccolo snare
Hardware
- Pearl cymbal boom arms (one w/counterweight)
- Tama cymbal boom arms
- Gibraltar cymbal boom arms
- Pearl straight cymbal stand
- Pearl rack and clamps
- Gibraltar double bass pedal
- Pearl throne
I’d like to thank the cool guys at Fred Pierce’s Drum Studio Shop (sorry, no real web site yet) for always cutting me a deal. Fred’s shop is at 9537 Midland in St. Louis, MO. I am going to assume for purposes of this argument that they are still there and when I was actively buying drum stuff they were my favorite drum shop. Drum Headquarters was also ok and some of the stuff came from there.
